Our commitment to transparency
Teacher Genie was founded by educators Jenniffer Jones and Kelly Mason to support teachers and students with practical classroom resources. We believe meaningful educational materials begin with thoughtful educational decisions, not just attractive graphics.
Artificial intelligence is one of the tools we use. Depending on the resource, AI may assist with illustrations, layouts, ideas, or written drafts. Educators direct and review the work; we do not claim that every element is hand-drawn or entirely human-written.
Thoughtful technology
We use digital design tools and generative AI in portions of our creative process. Some illustrations and, where applicable, written drafts may be AI-assisted.
Careful review
We aim to check instructional accuracy, developmental fit, spelling, visual quality, inclusion, readability, and print usability before publishing.
Honest descriptions
We disclose AI assistance when relevant and distinguish educator-developed content from content created with AI drafting support.
Continuous improvement
We welcome teacher feedback and correct errors when they are identified.
How we describe AI use
Individual products may include AI-assisted illustrations or AI-assisted writing and illustrations. Product descriptions should identify the applicable use based on the actual creation process. Where that history has not yet been verified, we do not imply that a resource is AI-free.
Our classroom-ready review
Our review checklist covers educational integrity, grade-level suitability, editorial accuracy, inclusive and coherent visuals, accessibility and print quality, and rights and transparent descriptions. This is a quality-control commitment, not a claim of independent research validation or clinical effectiveness.
